Human Resources

Note to Employees: HR Staff is currently working a combination of in-office and remote so we may not always be able to see unscheduled drop-ins. Please contact Emily Wagener or Jessica Neill Hoyson to make an appointment if you need to meet in person with HR.  Employees are encouraged to communicate with us via email for all items that do not require an in-person meeting.

The ultimate goal and primary objectives of the Human Resources department are to hire the most qualified, highly-skilled individuals to serve the citizens of Edmonds and to provide City staff with training, benefits and information that allow them to do their jobs in the best possible way.

The City fully embraces and supports all areas of equity, diversity and inclusion in our employment practices. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for our all of our employees. Employment is based on job requirements, individual qualifications, merit and business needs, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or any other protected class.
