In response to the City's fiscal crisis and per Ordinance No. 4376 the City of Edmonds Salary Commission has been suspended for the years 2025 and 2026. The Salary Commission is expected to resume in 2027.
About the Salary Commission
The Salary Commission, as authorized by City Ordinance 4252 and ECC Chapter 10.80, is a five-member commission that meets every other (odd) year (beginning in 2023) to review and make binding salary and benefits recommendations for the City's elected positions of Mayor and Council.
Public Meetings & Hearings Schedule
Meetings occur between July 1st and September 30th and must include no fewer than two 2 public hearings. Each meeting is scheduled for 90 minutes. The meeting schedule is listed below:
