Draft Project Documents

City of Edmonds is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan and below are the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and the Draft Plan for public viewing and comments.

As part of the update, City is required to accommodate certain amount of growth per county adopted growth targets.

The Draft Plan includes a no-action alternative and two action alternatives that describe the City's approach to accommodate the predicted growth and its long-term goals and policies that align with the City's vision.

The Draft EIS document studies the potential impacts and adverse affects that may occur due to the growth.

DRAFT EIS public hearing/meeting was held on October 16th. 
Staff and Consultants provided a brief overview of the summary of impacts and mitigation measures that were included in the draft document.

Additionally, an in-person Open House is scheduled for Oct 28th from 3.30 - 5.30 PM to discuss both Draft Plan and the DEIS combinedly.

Public Comments

Comments received from the public, organizations, or agencies on the DRAFT EIS will be posted here for public viewing every Monday evening. All these comments will be documented, and responses will be included in the Final Environmental Statement (FEIS)
