2024 Climate Champions Speaker Series
The Mayors’ Climate Protection Committee of Edmonds invites residents to a speaker series addressing various aspects of the climate change issue affecting Edmonds and the Puget Sound region. The series takes place on three dates: Wednesday, October 2nd, 16th, and 30th and all will be held in Community Room B at the Edmonds Waterfront Center and online via Zoom.
The series will feature local experts, faculty from Edmonds College, the University of Washington, and a representative from the State Department of Ecology. Audience engagement is strongly encouraged. The themes for each evening will be:
- October 2 – Sea Level Rise and Coastal Implications - Slides
- October 16 – Climate Impacts to Flora and Fauna - Recording, Slides
October 30 – Atmospheric Science and Climate - Recording, Slides

Doors open at 5:45 pm and talks will commence at 6:00. Presentations will last approximately one hour and will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
