City Park Pavilion & Frances Anderson Center Bandshell
These are outdoor auditoriums each has a stage and grass area for spectator seating.

Athletic Fields
Review the Athletic Field Use Policies and Procedures for information regarding field allocation, scheduling priorities and timelines, insurance requirements, policies, rules of conduct, locations, hours and more.
Athletic Field Rental Rates:
- $15 per hour residents; $20 per hour non-residents
- All rentals are a minimum 2-hours
- Civic Center Playfield light fee $20 per hour
- One-time $30 administrative fee per permit
- 50% of rental fee due when field allocation is approved
- 50% due within 30 days of final billing
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
- Full refund available if City declares field unsafe and is unable to provide an alternate location
- Refunds are not issued for weather related cancellations (rainouts)
Field Scheduling & Allocation:
- Athletic field allocations happen three times per year.
- Late applications will be considered after the allocation process is complete, on a first-come first-served basis.
- Spring/Summer Season (March - August) Application's accepted in January & February
- Fall Season (September - November, subject to weather conditions) - applications accepted July & August
- Winter Season (December - February, subject to weather conditions) - applications accepted November & Decembe

All athletic field renters must attest to having read, understand and intend to adhere to the following:
Shelter Rental Rules
- Shelters are reserved to one user/group per day. If your reserved shelter is occupied on arrival, please show your rental contract with the City to the user. If conflict, call 911, state it is a non-emergency, and report the problem.
- City Park 100 maximum per reserved shelter or gazebo. Hickman Park 50 maximum for reserved shelter.
- Edmonds City Code, Section 5.23.040 prohibits drinking of alcoholic beverages within any City park, beach or playground.
- Park hours are from dawn to dusk, unless otherwise posted. Dusk is one-half hour after sunset.
- Trash and garbage that does not fit in available containers must be removed from the park by the shelter user.
- Picnic Shelter renters have the first option to rent the ball field otherwise the field may be rented out. Ball field rental fee applies.
- Renter is responsible for bringing own briquettes for park supplied BBQ’s. Park Maintenance staff will take care of cleaning hot coals. For PERSONAL BBQ’s renter responsible for carrying out all coals. There is no place to dump coals in the park. Propane BBQ allowed – 5 gallon maximum tank, one tank at a time, and must be self-contained in BBQ or in a box so it won’t tip over.
- Dogs only permitted “on leash” in southeast wooded area of City Park and paved/wooded paths at Hickman Park.
- Amplified sound not permitted without permission from Parks & Recreation Director. No extension cords outside of shelter.
- Park in designated areas only. Driving on the turf is prohibited. Parking spots cannot be reserved.
- No posting or stapling on signs, trees, tables or shelters. A cork board is available at the entrance to park.
- Shelters are not available for fund raising activities, by either non-profit or profit groups.
- The renter is responsible to the City for any damages or excess cleanup required due to their rental. Damage to City property is enforced under RCW 9A.48.090 and Edmonds City Code 5.36.020.
- Portable carnival type devices (i.e. dunk tanks, moonwalks, shooting galleries, pony rides, etc.) are not allowed.
- Portable catering trucks and latte stands are prohibited, this includes trailer able devices i.e. BBQ’s.
- If shelters have not been reserved, they are available at no charge on a first-come first-served basis.
Green Food Service Policy
The governmental operations of the City of Edmonds will no longer purchase or provide single-use polystyrene or other plastic-based, non-compostable food service packaging or ware for any city-sponsored function providing food and/or beverages. Renters and officially-recognized users of City owned buildings are strongly encouraged to comply with these restrictions.
