SNOHOMISH COUNTY BRIDGE HOUSING - Coming soon

Snohomish County has purchased a motel on HWY 99 in Edmonds and intends to convert it to time-limited bridge housing with wraparound services including food, hygiene, employment services, legal services, and mental health and substance use disorder services.  The former America's Best Value Inn was the location many local and regional service providers (including the City of Edmonds) used to place unhoused community members utilizing various voucher programs however, in the past there were no wraparound services; this facility will have 24/7 on-site staffing and services. Edmonds Household Support Grants

The City of Edmonds is offering Household Support Grants up to $2500 per household for residents living within city limits, with incomes up to 60% of the area median income levels.

2-1-1 Washington

2-1-1 is a free confidential community service and your one-stop connection to local services for those in need. From rent/utility assistance, food, housing, healthcare, childcare and after school programs to elder care, crisis intervention and much more. Dial 2-1-1 from anywhere in Washington State and you will reach a highly trained information and referral specialist who will assess your needs and provide a list of referrals to available resources in your community.   TTY for the deaf and hard of hearing and interpreter services are also available in 140+ languages.

Washington Kids in transition 

Services for families with children in the Edmonds and Everett School Districts who are experiencing homelessness or on the verge of being homeless. Services include emergency motel vouchers, emergency clothing/shoe closet, emergency food/diapers, rent and utility assistance, rental deposit assistance, and more.

Department of social & health services (dshs) - washington state 

DSHS offers a variety of programs such as food, cash, medical, housing assistance, vocational rehabilitation,  mental health & addiction services, disability support, adult care and more.

Lynnwood Hygiene center 

Provides showers, restrooms, toiletries, food, and clothing for people experiencing homelessness. Shower facilities are typically open Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm

Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation Car Camp

Car camp services for women & families with children under age 18. The Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation Car Camp offers 10 parking spaces and accepts families with children under the age of 18 and single women. Services at the site are limited to a portable toilet, hand washing area, a microwave, and garbage/recycling. Gas and laundry vouchers are provided monthly via grant money provided by the Hazel Miller Foundation.

westgate chapel emergency food bank

Operates a food and clothing bank on Thursdays from 11 am -2 pm.  In addition to food and clothing, Westgate Chapel also provides some financial assistance, gasoline and community transit vouchers for appointments or job searches and/or grocery vouchers for specialized needs.

cocoon house

The Cocoon House Outreach team works throughout the county providing emergency supplies, hygiene packs, food packs, and access to housing and local resources to young people ages 12-24. Meeting young people on the street, in schools, at partner agencies, or at the U-Turn Drop-In Center, the team works with each individual to build trust and help them access the resources they need.

YWCA pathways for women

YWCA Pathways for Women is a 45-day emergency shelter for single adult women (18+) and mothers with children. They strive to give all clients the opportunity to find decent, affordable, and safe housing for themselves and their children.

Everett gospel mission

The Everett Gospel Mission provides shelter and comprehensive recovery programs for 145 men, and 75 women and children each night. If you are looking for help or assistance, please call one of the locations to find out how they can serve you.

Interfaith Family shelter

Located in downtown Everett, the shelter can accommodate up to 11 families with children at any time. Clients receive about 90 days of shelter and basic needs resources, including meals, showers, personal hygiene kits, and laundry services, while working with a Rapid Rehousing Case Manager. There is also the Cars to Housing program, with two safe-parking sites in central and south Everett for families living in their vehicles.
