The Online Crime Reporting System is designed for victims of certain crimes to save time by reporting non-emergency events. Online Crime Reports are reviewed by a supervisor. A case number is generated and returned to you via email (typically within 72 hours) and you can print a copy of the police report at no cost.
Online Crime Reporting cannot be used for felonies, crimes where the suspect is known, if the crime address is unknown or if the value of something stolen or damaged exceeds $5,000.
An online report is a good option if a police report number is needed for insurance purposes.
Using the Edmonds Police Department Online Crime Reporting System, you can report the following incidents:
Theft |
Theft from Vehicle |
Vehicle Prowling |
Vandalism |
Graffiti |
Abandoned Vehicles |
|
Lost Property |
