Description of Proposal:  The applicant is proposing to subdivide the subject site into five lots for residential development.  The site is zoned RS-6 (Single-Family Residential, minimum lot size of 6,000 square feet).  A preliminary formal plat application is a Type III-B decision made by the Hearing Examiner following a public hearing.

Any person has the right to comment on this application during the public comment period, receive notice and participate in any hearings, and request a copy of the decision on the application.  The City may accept public comments at any time prior to the closing of the record of an open record predecision hearing, if any, or, if no open record predecision hearing is provided, prior to the decision on the project permit.  Only parties of record as defined in ECDC 20.07.003 have standing to initiate an administrative appeal.

A public hearing before the Hearing Examiner will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 250 - 5th Ave. N, Edmonds, WA 98020. 


Lead Agency:  The City of Edmonds is SEPA lead agency for the proposed five-lot subdivision (File No. PLN20170028).

SEPA Determination:  Notice is hereby given that the City of Edmonds has issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) under WAC 197-11-340 for the above project.

Date of Issuance:  September 19, 2017

SEPA Appeal Deadline:  October 3, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.  Appeals must be filed in writing citing the specific reasons for appeal with the required fee to the City of Edmonds Planning Division, 121 – 5th Ave. N, Edmonds, WA 98020.
