Regional Fire Authority

On February 6, 2013, Edmonds City Council opted out of participation with a Southwest Snohomish County Regional Fire Authority (RFA) Planning Committee formed in 2011. The intent of the RFA Planning Committee was to evaluate the costs, savings, and benefits for a regionalized fire and emergency medical service agency. RFA plans continue for Snohomish County Fire District 1, Mountlake Terrace and Brier.
