Update on Edmonds

Bigfoot graphicRecently Bigfoot was spotted in Edmonds – in the Fourth of July parade!

His appearance marks the early stages of a community competition called Taming Bigfoot Edmonds that will launch this Fall. Teams from the greater Edmonds community will form to compete in fun and engaging activities that hopefully lead to shrinking their carbon footprint. Prizes will be awarded to the Team that reduces the most overall, plus in many other categories.

Go to www.tamingbigfoot.edmondswa.gov for details as they develop. A community steering committee leads this effort under the aegis of the Mayor’s Climate Protection Committee and Interfaith Climate Action. Initial sponsors include Walnut Street Coffee and Campbell Auto Group.
