Spring 2016

UW 2015 Labor Partnership AwardAt the March 9th United Way Community Caring Celebration, the City of Edmonds was awarded the "2015 Labor Partnership Award". On hand to receive the award was City of Edmonds Recreation Coordinator, Todd Cort.

Every year in November the City holds their annual United Way Campaign drive. The drive generally starts on the first of November and ends the day before Thanksgiving. During that time employees learn about the important programs funded by United Way and participate in community-building events that raise funds towards the City's United Way goal.

Todd Cort and Diane Cunningham, Planning Administrative Assistant, are part of the City's United Way Campaign Committee representing labor groups. Together they assisted in the planning and execution of events that helped raise over $10,000 for United Way of Snohomish County!
